UNICORNS
Join in with a parent or grown up friend for kids 2-3.5 years old. A class to connect with your little one whilst they learn about music and movement in a warm and friendly class environment.
Thursday mornings 9.30am - 10am
Friday mornings 10.30am - 11am
Saturday mornings 10am - 10.30am

DRAGONS
For 3.5-5 year olds. Parents can stay and watch but don't need to participate (unless they particularly want to!). Kids will learn the basics of dance, a solid foundation if they later want to learn any style of dance, and be able to express themselves in the improvisation section of the class.

PIXIES
Pixies is aimed at young primary aged children, 5 - 7 years old. A mix of both Ballet and Jazz Ballet exercises and dances, still with a good splash of improvisation and fun at the end!
This is a 45minute class
Monday afternoons 4pm - 4.45pm
JO DRAGONSTONE
Jo participated in her first ever creative movement/pre ballet class in 1989 at Box Hill Ballet Association.
Jo loved her classes so much that, 35 years later, she is still teaching at Box Hill, while also running her own wedding dance business First Dance Melbourne
Jo is now offering kid’s dance classes for the first time in Merri-Bek as a way to share her decades of experience in teaching pre-schoolers the fundamentals of dance in a fun, inclusive environment that above all else fosters joy, expression, and creativity.
When she’s not teaching, Jo is busy being a Mum to her two beautiful daughters.
Jo cant wait to share her love of dance with all the kids of Merri-bek!
